Black History Month is a time of celebration and reckoning in the United States. After a year of social unrest and collective grieving amidst a global pandemic, it is important that we acknowledge and uplift marginalized voices.
This year for black history month, we’re doing a series of dedicated posts every week celebrating black history, our black models.
All our Faggot Forefathers this month will be Black Americans that we think you should know about. We’ll also be reminding you of some of the Black Faggot Forefathers we’ve covered already. If you’re not familiar with our Faggot Forefathers series, they’re weekly posts dedicated to the lives of historically significant gay men. Check out last year’s posts here.
We’re also going to be bringing you exclusive model interviews with some of TIM’s finest Black models.
Additionally, we’ll be spotlighting a couple of Black/Queer organizations we think could use a little extra support.
